Elevated to the grade of Senior Member of the IEEE
I am pleased to announce that I have been elevated to the rank of Senior Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). Only 8 percent of IEEE members have attained the level of senior member. Senior Membership is an honor bestowed only to those who have made significant contributions to the profession. They are recognised for their technical and professional excellence, achievements, publications and course development or technical direction in IEEE-designated fields. I am particularly active in the IEEE Computational Intelligence Society.
IEEE is the world's largest technical professional organization dedicated to advancing technology for the benefit of humanity. There are more than 420,000 IEEE members in more than 160 countries. IEEE and its members inspire a global community to innovate for a better tomorrow through its highly-cited publications, conferences, technology standards, and professional and educational activities. IEEE is the trusted “voice” for engineering, computing and technology information around the globe.
IEEE publishes a third of the world’s technical literature in electrical engineering, computer science and electronics and is a leading developer of international standards that underpin many of today's telecommunications, information technology and power generation products and services.
